Who are we?

Thrive Education Partnership (TEP) is a growing Multi-Academy Trust consisting of three Special Needs Academies, an autism specific primary satellite provision and an SEMH/AS resource base within a large secondary mainstream school. TEP employs approximately 400 staff and supports approximately 520 pupils (2-19 years of age); annual turnover of TEP equates to over £12m.

How do we support Local Authority and Educational Colleagues?

Working with Local Authorities to establish successful SEND strategies – helping to reduce mainstream exclusions, reduce use of ISP’s and increase Special School capacity for those children & young people that require it

  • Supporting schools in difficulty – Early intervention or post-Ofsted support
  • Individual school or trust wide CPD aligned with SEND priorities; each CPD package is bespoke and fully tailored to the needs of the organisation
  • SEND review of school provision and support in developing evidence-based strategic improvement plan
  • Leadership & Management coaching & mentoring including completion of accredited courses
  • Support with behaviour that challenges, including access to Functional Behaviour Analysts, whole school strategy to behaviour, and approaches to positive behaviour reinforcement

The TEP Trust Board, alongside outstanding senior leaders from its member schools, have an exceptional track record of school improvement, establishing new provision and producing outstanding destinations for its pupils.

TEP is becoming a cross sector trust, encompassing a family of specialist and mainstream schools including primary inner-city across the West Midlands region. Within our designation as a Department for Education recognised National Support Organisation, we continue to support schools across the region with leadership and school improvement support.
