Conference 2022
Thrive Education Partnership organised their first 'in-person' Leadership Day this year. The day was a culmination of the Senior Leader and Middle Leader programmes that we run throughout the academic year, free of charge, for our schools.
The Leadership day was hosted at St Andrew's Stadium, the home of Birmingham City FC. Throughout the day there was a motivational keynote from Olympian, Derek Redmond, followed by a talk from our CEO and Executive Leadership team before we welcomed HMI Chris Pollitt on behalf of Ofsted who reassured our staff by clarifying the new framework and clearing up misconceptions. Our guest speakers, Dr Alec Clark, Graham Chatterley and Paul Crittenden offered 3 workshops exploring evidence informed approaches to Trauma and behaviour as well as a detailed wellbeing session.
At Thrive, we value our staff and students, we prioritise wellbeing and we seek evidence-based approach to supplement the wonderful work we see across our Multi Academy Trust. We all know how difficult it can be to get a medical appointment during term time, therefore Thrive organised medical professionals to complete health checks for attendees in addition to providing much needed support and guidance to our hard-working staff.
Back in schools, non leaders had wellbeing sessions, workshops on pay and pension and some directed time from home to ensure we are informed, rested and protected at all levels of our organisation.
Thrive Education Partnership intend to host a whole trust event this academic year - watch this space!
