Spring Successes for Thrive Education Partnership

Thrive Education Partnership’s April 2025 newsletter celebrates a season of remarkable achievements, community growth, and inspiring initiatives across its schools.

Kingsbury Academy received top Ofsted, praised for its inclusive ethos and creative curriculum. Similarly, The Warwickshire Academy was commended for its ambitious learning environment, while Corley Academy earned the National Autistic Society’s Advanced Autism Specialist Award.

This term saw the launch of Thrive’s Mental Health Champions initiative, fostering openness and support around wellbeing. In line with this focus, the annual Thrive Conference on May 2nd will explore the theme "Leading with Kindness," featuring keynote speakers Dave Whitaker and Jaz Ampaw-Farr.

The newsletter also highlights community-driven learning: Mary Elliot students visited Sainsbury’s to build life skills; Kingsbury learners partnered with Tesco for real-world retail experience; and Corley Academy students thrived in NHS-supported internships. Meanwhile, Project 250 introduced disabled students to golf, and Calthorpe Academy shone with artistic expression at the MAC.

With new staff appointments like Safeguarding Lead James Simoniti, and Lea Hall Academy joining the Trust, Thrive continues its mission of inclusive, relationship-based education.
